Since 2011, Esther J. Cha has been serving the legal needs of Crawford and its surrounding counties.  Esther moved to Robinson in 2010 and opened the law firm in 2011.

In over 10 years of practice, Esther has developed a love for family law.  In addition to representing clients in divorce and custody cases, she is a trained family law mediator.  She also practices in estate planning and administration, business planning, real estate, and contracts.

Esther J. Cha was born and raised in Falls Church, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC.  She attended undergrad at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia (Go Hokies!) and law school in Silicon Valley at Santa Clara University School of Law. As a law student, Esther clerked at the Supreme Court of South Korea and worked as a legal assistant at the Northern California Innocence Project. During law school Esther also met her spouse, Cole Price Shaner, a native of Crawford County, Illinois. Prior to starting the law firm, Esther worked in Washington, DC in the areas of mortgage foreclosure and antitrust law.

Esther also enjoys her work with Crawford County Habitat for Humanity, a Christian housing ministry providing quality homes to families in need.
